NEW YORK – BC Platforms said Friday that it is partnering with Life & Brain Genomics to manage array-based omics analysis.
Life & Brain Genomics is the genomics service division of Life & Brain Gmbh, a Bonn, Germany-based creator of a biomedical and neuroscience technology platform for translational research.
Under the partnership, Zurich, Switzerland-based BC Platforms will apply its BC|Genome, BC|Pipe, and BC|Sample software to improve sample management and streamline genetic array data input for Life & Brain. These software modules will be integrated with Life & Brain's IT systems and Illumina's iScan array scanner, the companies said.
"This partnership helps us to meet increased demand from our European customers that require our services for data production with high quality and timely delivery," Life & Brain CEO Markus Nöthen said in a statement. BC Platforms' solution allows us to spend more time on revenue-generating tasks to the benefit of our customers and their patients."
